Work Hard, Play Hard, that’s my motto. In a resort town with so many buyers & sellers, it is sometimes hard to break away from the office of Century 21 and enjoy the slopes myself. We are so lucky to have Holiday Valley Ski Resort and The Holimont Ski Resort in such a short radius of each other and in such an enchanting little town. I have to remind myself with the help of my family to enjoy my surroundings as much the tourists do. It is easy to see that the frequent visitors become home owners themselves as they fall in love with the charm of Ellicottville, New York.

I am originally from the Western New York area and my husband from Canada. We enjoy our log home in its wooded surroundings just three miles outside of town. There is nothing like the smell of the wood burning fireplace while soaking in the hot tub after a long day of skiing.

As the season winds down, we head down to St. Petersburg Florida for Spring Break; it is a welcome change to feel the warm air and watch the beautiful sandy sunsets. Our summers are spent enjoying Niagara-on-the Lake, catching the Shaw Festival Performances and visiting the great Niagara region wineries not to mention the occasional pint at The Old Angel Inn.

As you can see, I have a true belief that real estate is where it’s at and that’s why an investment in a resort area can really give you a return on your money.
